Alyssa Martin, Ph.D., a North Dakota native, brings over 20 years of experience in governance, policy, and system-level leadership across K–12, higher education, and state government. She spent a decade with the North Dakota School Boards Association advising school boards on governance, effectiveness, and policy, followed by six years at the University of Mary as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, where she oversaw accreditation, faculty development, learning technology, and institutional assessment. She currently serves in state government, leading the transformation of a large-scale virtual school to strengthen outcomes, improve accountability, and respond to evolving demands in the age of AI. Through Plains Education Solutions, she helps organizations diagnose gaps, align systems, and deliver measurable results.
